As you can see in the repertoire overview, JOMIs repertoire is wide - in addition to cheerful and parody scenes full of affectionate mockery, his great strength lies in thoughtful lyrical scenes and religious themes.
With him the pantomime becomes a message in which socially critical scenes have their place as well as biblical, philosophical and literary topics.
In his scenes he moves between existence and appearance, between dream and reality, but he always tells us something of his own personal world and life experience. His silent art is not speechless, quite the opposite - it takes the form of parody or social-critical attitude to the problems of our time.
The length of a performance and the scene selection depends on different conditions: the venue (e.g. theater, church, banquet hall, and auditorium), type of event (e.g. children's performance, student performance, performance for the whole family, solo performance, theme night or worship). The performances will be all individually assembled in consultation to the expectations of the organizers.
JOMI also occurs at fairs, celebrations, anniversaries, community festivals or at church conventions. He often receives inquiries about whether he would act as a street mime or gimmick. This is not his job.
He needs a stage for his performances (minimum 4m x 3 m) with black or dark background curtains and a special lighting technology, which he can also bring on demand.
A performance at an event will have the duration of 20 to 60 minutes.
A solo performance or themed evening takes about 90 to 100 minutes and always is with intermission.
New scenes to a desired topic can be prepared by JOMI and his director and will be developed in accordance with your consultation. The price for this development is not included in the performance fee and will be billed to you - depending on the effort - separately.
